Yup.
I am trying to get back into cosplay.
But I have run out of ideas for solo shots.
And other than that, I have no makeup. I ran out of all of my makeup and I'm not exactly the richest person... xD
All of my wigs have been obtained due to the generosity of others. (Speaking of which Juxtaposte (https://www.deviantart.com/juxtaposte) recently gifted me her old Mello wig. I love it hardcore.)
But makeup is a big deal to me and now that I have none of the right kinds, I dont look or feel right in cosplay.
Its not a lot but the blush I used to use was expensive as shit, and my dumb ass dropped it in a toilet.

Miss Garwood I love you ever so much.
I want you to know I don't hate Death Note, I just don't cosplay much anymore.
And when I do, it doesn't feel like it used to. And I don't want to share pictures with others that I myself am not proud of in at least one respect.
If ever I get up the energy and vanity again, I will take pics. But I've found I'm better suited behind the lens than in front of it. (Which probably surprises anyone reading this because the only thing I take pictures of is myself and various plantlife.)

OYY. I love your cosplays. They're not super high quality or distracting stuff like that, but you've got one of the most L-ish like faces I've ever seen. And those contacts - they just pop ridiculously well on camera. And there's one Mello pic that I adore. I wish all cosplayers could have the kind of spunk you have in your pics. And I see a journal entry up there that says you don't cosplay much anymore, but I'm just glad that you've kept your old stuff. Seriously, it's..inspiring. ^^

As a cosplayer, I did my best to not only look like the character, but act and feel like them. Keep myself in their mindset and do everything true to them. I have a wacky respect for an artists intellectual property, I would never desecrate it.
And, I also feel cosplay should have more than just technical flare. Theres emotions that often go neglected.
